While I certainly support anyone who would demand that our treaty rights must be respected, I, nevertheless, would insist that neither Canada nor the provinces have anything to do with this. We have no treaties with them. Indeed, our treaties were signed with the BNA Act never received royal assent. How, therefore, could it ever have formed the foundation of their constitution. More to the point, how could they have a constitution in the first place. Our constitutionm the Great League of Peace or Great Law was in place when they invaded our shores. Under international law, it is not possible to place a constitution over top of another especially when, as in our case, the constitution was never defeated in battle. You will recall that when Hitler did that in Czechoslovakia and Poland, the Nuremburg Trials concluded that he had committed genocide. How can the conduct of the Imperial Crown and its servants be seen as any different? By the way, I firmly believe that, when Victoria died in 1901, the authority of the Imperial Crown transferred to the Inner City of London, to the office of the Lord Mayor of London.
As for Gary McHale, one thing is certain:- the police and the Minister of the Attorney General need to be held accountable for their actions. I have tried for years to lay charges against the police and the Crown Attorneys and, although successful in most cases, the Crown always refuses to prosecute. That two tier policing that McHale talks about. It affects us all so don't be too hard on the old boy. At least in these efforts, he needs and deserves our support. Remember, no one is more abused by the system than Indigenous peoples.

What this whole thing is really about is that the Provincial Goverment did not consult with Six Nations Traditional Confederacy before selling the lands from there treaty to the devellopers. So you have this whole mess which was created by the Provincial Goverment. Divide and conquer everyone, The Province broke the law and that is the bottom line. As far as Mr Mchale is concerned that is another story that really deserves no comment.
David Grey Eagle,

I say bring out the tomahawks and bowes and arrows, We had trouble with these pricks before.
A little humour goes many miles.

His views are right on the button when it comes to Native CANADIAN rights. Gary says he's fighting for Canadian rights. If that were the case then he should be fighting for the Native Canadians as well but he doesn't. He didn't show up for Site 41 near Elmvale. IF he were fighting for ALL Canadians, why wasn't he there fighting for the rights of the Native Canadians who were arrested for a peaceful demonstration.
He's a racist as well as the people that right on his board. I am not Native but would fight for their rights gladly over asses like Gary McHale.

Not much to say here, except that your views my friend are not much more rediculous from Gary's just at the other end of the scale!
