As most know, Barack Obama’s been hailed as a slick operator adept at using the media to its best end.

It seems now that not only is he a smooth talker, he’s probably the most gifted and shrewd politician America has seen in the last one hundred years.

If you look at Barack Obama’s team so far, you’ll see he’s spent a huge amount of time and extensive thought process on who he chooses.  His picks are so awesomely excellent, it’s hard not to want to shake his hand and say ‘Finally, a President who’s not a complete wanker’.

As much as I despise American politics and wish it didn’t exist… I’ve followed their political scene actively since about the year 2001.  Having lived for a tiny while in Arizona I knew a morsel about Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano, who’s just been picked as Obama’s Homeland Security Director.  That is a shrewd decision.

Everyone knows about Senator Hillary Clinton, who’s been picked as Secretary of State.  Now that’s probably his biggest and wisest decision (aside from choosing Joe Biden as Vice President).  Her reputation alone will guarantee people will take her seriously at least.  Couple that with her experience, she’s bound to do great things… which don’t include lying about weapons on the backs of lorries.
