You bring up several very interesting points but please be careful how you label people either Jews or Nazis. The connections between and among the German royal families is indeed breathtaking and you might do well to go into greater detail about Prince Philip's in-laws (and certain letters retrieved immediately after the war, hint hint) and allow your readers to draw their own conclusions. Have you heard of the house of Oettingen-Spielberg being replaced by Jewish Usurpers around the end of World War Two? Or the house of Hesse being replaced by Jews two centuries ago? What about former Nazis escaping prosecution by going to Israel with Jewish documents? There is a wealth of facts available without labeling people.

Actually In 1936, a constitutional crisis in the British Empire was caused by King-Emperor Edward VIII's proposal to marry Wallis Simpson, a twice-divorced American socialite.

The marriage was opposed by the King's governments in the United Kingdom and the autonomous Dominions of the British Commonwealth. Religious, legal, political, and moral objections were raised. Mrs Simpson was perceived to be an unsuitable consort because of her two failed marriages, and it was widely assumed by the Establishment that she was driven by love of money or position rather than love for the King. Despite the opposition, Edward declared that he loved Mrs Simpson and intended to marry her whether the governments approved or not.

The widespread unwillingness to accept Mrs Simpson as the King's consort, and the King's refusal to give her up, led to Edward's abdication in December 1936.[1] He remains the only British monarch to have voluntarily renounced the throne since the Anglo-Saxon period. He was succeeded by his brother Albert, who took the regnal name George VI. Edward was given the title His Royal Highness the Duke of Windsor following his abdication, and he married Mrs Simpson the following year. They remained married until his death 35 years later.

From your site I received (March 28, 2009) an e-mail from "The Fight And The Future (kermit@ryanpaul.ca)" in which the author ("melt") labeled me a "Zio-Nazi" because of a post of mine comparing Jewish and Muslim Nobel-prize-winner.

I quote:

There is a new comment on the post "Royal Nazi History".
http://www.ryanpaul.ca/site/british-royal-family-nazi-history/

"Goran the zio-nazi who on the one hand condemns anti-Jewish comments, then goes on to make a totally irrelevant and Islamophobic rant, comparing Jewish Nobel prize winners to 'Muslim' ones "

Unquote

The ease with which some people (sadly on your site too) label others "nazis" (when untrue this charge is an often simply a subconscious vent of very Left-wing views) and "Zionist (when untrue, it is simply a vent of anti-Semitic feelings) is truly amazing. My first thought was that it was a tasteless joke but unfortunately it wasn't.

For the sake of readers here (though of course the ethical damage done by that post to those who wont read these words of mine is irreparable) I wish to state that I am neither a Zionist nor of course a Nazi. Nazism assumes hatred against other RACES, and Zionism assumes looking down (but, often, not hatred!) on non-Jews. I have NOTHING against Arabs (some of my friends are Arabs) though I have a lot of objections to Islam (a religion, not a race). My comments on Nobel-Prize winners were based on pure facts.

For the slanderer soul's sake I request an apology (not that I hope to get it).

Best wishes to the readers.
